Benefits of Diagnostic Services

Skin Biopsy

Your dermatologist will take a small sample of skin during a skin biopsy so it can be examined under a microscope. Some skin disorders, such as skin cancer, infections, and blister-causing ailments, can only be diagnosed with this enlarged view. Finding the source of a rash may also be accomplished by a skin biopsy.

Food Allergy Testing

A food allergy develops when your immune system, which is your body's line of defence against pathogens, overreacts to a specific food as if it were dangerous. Food allergy testing can help determine whether symptoms you experience after consuming a particular food are due to an allergic reaction to that food.

Patch Test

A patch test is a skin test performed to determine the root of a potential allergic response on the skin. Allergic contact dermatitis is the medical term for this reaction. A reaction to something that made contact with the skin is known as contact dermatitis. Usually, an allergic reaction of this kind results in inflammation (redness, itching).

Dermoscopy

Dermoscopy, also known as dermatoscopy, is primarily used to assess pigmented skin lesions and aid in the early detection of cutaneous malignant melanoma.
